Industrial corrosion protection, before a small flaw causes a costly production shutdown.

Fischer Fix GmbH inspects, protects and repairs tanks, vessels, basins and industrial plants – in Switzerland, Italy, Austria, France and Germany, directly on site and with a personal contact, from the enquiry to the inspection report.

Starting situations

What situation is your plant in?

Planned inspection or emergency – Fischer Fix GmbH brings inspection and repair from a single source directly to your plant.

Planned turnaround or plant inspection

  • Inspect existing rubber linings and coatings
  • Detect invisible flaws early
  • Document the condition in a traceable way
  • Carry out the necessary repairs within the planned window
  • Secure the next production period

Acute damage or leak

  • Leaks, detachments and perforations
  • Damaged protective layers
  • Escaped or aggressive media
  • Blistering in the rubber
  • Repair options directly on site

How an invisible flaw becomes costly damage

Services

Four protection systems – one single contact

The system that protects your plant depends on the medium, temperature and load – not on the maximum possible effort.

Rubber liningRubber linings

Rubber linings

Robust protection of tanks, vessels and components against chemical, thermal and mechanical loads.

ApplicationsNew, partial and repair rubber linings, inspection of existing systems
PartsTanks, vessels, agitators, components
CoatingIndustrial coatings

Industrial coatings

Chemical-resistant interior coatings, precisely matched to the medium, temperature and load.

ApplicationsNew coatings and refurbishment, protection against acids and bases
PartsTanks, basins, pools, plant components
Lamit-GRPLamit-GRP linings

Lamit-GRP linings

Multi-layer glass-fibre-reinforced protection systems for high chemical and mechanical resistance.

ApplicationsDemanding and complex surfaces and geometries
PartsVessels, basins, plant zones
In detail
  • Substrate blasted and re-laminated: 2 × 450 g GRP mat plus a finishing veil layer
  • Additional Flake chemical protection layer, 2 sprayed coats
  • Resistant Flake HT: dry up to 220 °C, in wet conditions up to 80 °C
MasonryAcid-proof masonry

Acid-proof masonry

Acid-proof slab, brick and tile systems for high chemical and thermal loads.

ApplicationsNew build, refurbishment and repair
PartsCombined with sealing and lining systems
In detail
  • Refractory bricks protect the steel shell from heat (up to over 1,500 °C)
  • Thermal insulation saves energy, resists acids, bases and abrasion
  • Bricks individually replaceable – the tank is preserved
Plant inspection & Isotest

Detect damage before it is visible to the naked eye.

The inspection is carried out with an ISOTEST device from ELMED. An electrical test electrode (test brush) sweeps across the surface and reveals pores, cracks and flaws in the protection system that the eye cannot perceive.

  1. 1Examine the plantSurvey the plant and the existing protection system.
  2. 2Electrical inspectionSystematically sweep the rubber lining or coating with the ISOTEST device.
  3. 3Mark the flawsDetect and mark pores, cracks and invisible flaws.
  4. 4Document the reportRecord the results in a traceable inspection report.
  5. 5Repair on siteCarry out the necessary repairs directly where possible.

Challenge
  • Stainless-steel tank with a highly aggressive medium – already showing pitting corrosion.
  • Two large firms declined: substrate not suitable for coating.
  • Available products only partially resistant.
Our solution
  • Medium analysed in our own laboratory in Germany.
  • Suitable, resistant protection system selected.
  • Existing tank coated – instead of a costly rebuild.
Result
  • Preserving the tank avoids major reinvestment and administrative processes
  • No new purchase, no costly replacement.
  • ~120 m² of surface · project volume ~CHF 150,000.

Yes. Existing rubber linings and coatings can be inspected and, if necessary, repaired in a targeted way at the affected spots – a full replacement is often not needed.
